Watch original music videos created by APA musicians and filmmakers for Locus at KSW’s Do It Yourself Music Video Contest 2.
While you’re enjoying the videos at the CAAM website, make sure to VOTE for your favorite. While we love all the bands, this is a competition for them. The video with the highest rating will screen at the San Francisco International Asian American Film Festival in March!
Last Friday I got see all the music videos (+ the bands live!) at the DIY Music Video Premiere. It was a packed house! I was amazed that they had created so much with so little (just two months and little-to-no budget). I think that’s the true spirit of Do It Yourself–its empowering.
